This area of focus is concerned with the development of skills, knowledge and understanding required when handling and studying graphic products. Students are able to develop skills in using a wide range of graphical techniques used for the communication of ideas and solutions through drawings, diagrams and models. These techniques range from traditional drawing methods to the use of the latest computer drafting techniques.
why choose it?
Graphic products is suitable for students with an interest in design and/or computers. Other areas of interest might be: presentation, media, advertising, architecture, modelling, illustration and design communication. The further study of graphic products can lead to careers in graphic design, product or interior design, Desk Top Publishing, architecture, advertising/promotion.
